Desi YouTuber’s Tweet on the ‘Hustle’ Gets Him Schooled

After spreading the hustle culture sentiment from the LinkedIn brand on Twitter, an Indian YouTuber is receiving trolling. People are beginning to realize that working unreasonable hours for unreasonable pay is not the victory that it was once made out to be, which has dealt a severe blow to hustle culture's former glory. People are growing more concerned about the harm the hustle does to one's mental health and interpersonal connections.

In this situation, YouTuber Ishan Sharma decided to tweet his LinkedIn-style proverb, "work while they sleep

Learn while they party

Save while they spend

Then live as they dream”

Naturally, Twitter wasn't going to accept that. Twitter users were unrelenting in their criticism of everything from the glorification of the "hustle" to comparisons to a villainized group of "they."

A similar incident occurred recently when fashion entrepreneur and global influencer Masoom Minawala posted advice on success and entrepreneurship on her LinkedIn page. The influencer spoke about her own experience, emphasizing how she struggled academically and dropped out of high school. She went on to say that her zeal and passion for her work were what kept her going and were the cause of all of her accomplishments. It received a lot of criticism. Yes, a sarcastic tweeter observed, "Your father, the millionaire jeweler, and you not paying your interns couldn't be the reason for your successful business."
