In Jharkhand, a disturbing incident of group rape involving a stage performer has occurred. According to reports, a Spanish tourist was allegedly subjected to gang rape a few days after being assaulted by some individuals. Following the assault on the Spanish woman, a stage performer has accused three individuals in Palamu district of the state of mixing a sedative substance in her drink and then committing the heinous act of gang rape with her.

A 21-year-old victim, a resident of Chhattisgarh, stated to the police that she had come to Palamu to perform at an orchestra program. Following the alleged gang rape of a Spanish tourist in Dumka, Jharkhand, a stage performer accused three individuals in the state's Palamu district of mixing intoxicating substances in her drink and subsequently gang-raping her.

Two of the accused have been arrested by the police, while one remains at large. The 21-year-old survivor is undergoing treatment at a government hospital. She informed the police that she hails from Chhattisgarh and had come to Palamu to perform at an orchestra program.
The incident took place in Dumka, Jharkhand, a few days after a shocking assault on a Spanish couple traveling through the state. The Spanish woman alleged that she and her husband were staying in a tent when some individuals attacked her husband and subsequently gang-raped her.
An official informed the PTI news agency that at least seven people were involved in the incident. The couple is being treated at a local hospital, and three arrests have been made so far.
The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has described the incident as a 'blot' on Jharkhand. BJP MLA Anant Ojha stated, "It reflects the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, to the extent that even foreigners are not safe here."
Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta has asserted that the state government is committed to taking strict action against the perpetrators.
