Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has now responded to the nationwide controversy triggered by Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks.
The Delhi Minister stated that ‘Sanatan Dharma’ will remain forever.
He further expressed, “Sanatan Dharma has been in India for thousands of years.
So many different traditions came, Turks, Khiljis, many dynasties, but Sanatan
Dharma is as great even today as it was before.”
The AAP leader went on to say, “To get involved in such debate is to weaken
Sanatan Dharma.”
While expressing his views on the matter, he said, “Sanatan has always been there and will be there forever. An attempt is being made to create controversy without any reason.”
Adding to it, the minister remarked, “All religions should be given equal respect in India. For any religion, we should not do anything that might hurt the followers of that religion.”
Previously, Tamil Nadu Minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin landed into trouble when he made controversial remarks suggesting that the Sanatan Dharma should be eradicated.
The DMK leader sparked further controversy across the nation by drawing a parallel between diseases like dengue and malaria and the 'Sanatan Dharma.'
