While Americans are already gearing for the Fourth of July festivities, President Joe Biden is dealing with the consequences of the debate against his opponent from the Republican party, Donald Trump. In his later interviews, Biden moved to acknowledge the fact that he had made a number of mistakes during the debate, to state for example, “I screwed up. I made a mistake.

In his interviews with the local radio stations of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania on Wednesday, the President urged them to look at the performance of his entire term in the White House and not just by the 90 minute debate. ‘That’s 90 minutes on stage,’ Biden said, ‘look at what I’ve done in three and a half years. ’

This has been the case despite Biden enjoying a good start to his presidency with his popularity fading in different opinion polls with Trump leading by about six points. This change has led to doubts from some Democrats concerning Biden’s capacity and health state for the presidency.

However, Biden is determined to continue his re-election campaign despite the highlighted challenges above. He stressed on the accomplishments in his administration particularly in the putting forward of diverse candidates for the posts of vice presidency and judgeships including Kamala Harris and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

The President also referred to the latest comments of Trump regarding Black people and argued that his rival had little or no compassion on Black people.

In given example, Biden plans to celebrate July 4th by hosting families at the White House for the Independence Day. His activities for the next days are an interview for ABC News on Friday, campaign trail in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, NATO meeting in Washington.
