On January 7, 2025, actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad to meet Sri Teja, the young boy injured during the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024. The stampede occurred during the premiere of Arjun's film Pushpa 2: The Rule, which led to the tragic death of a woman and left her son, Teja, critically injured.
Arjun, wearing a green sweater and black pants, was seen entering the hospital accompanied by his team. Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman, Dil Raju, was also present, with heightened security around the hospital for the actor's visit. Although the visit was initially planned for January 5, it was postponed to ensure the safety and order of the public.
The actor had previously expressed deep concern for Teja’s health, as the boy had been unresponsive for 20 days following the stampede. However, by December 24, Teja showed signs of recovery, responding for the first time since the incident. Teja’s father, Bhaskar, thanked Allu Arjun for his support, noting the actor's continued assistance, along with help from the Telangana government.
