Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his remarks made during his US tour, accusing him of standing with divisive forces and undermining national security. Shah also accused Gandhi of revealing Congress’s anti-reservation stance, vowing that the BJP will safeguard reservations and the country’s security.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of making "anti-national statements" and siding with forces conspiring to divide India. Shah's remarks followed Gandhi’s critical comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian government during his US tour, where he also addressed issues related to reservations and representation.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Shah accused Gandhi of consistently undermining national security, citing his support for the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference's (JKNC) agenda and his foreign remarks. Shah asserted that the Congress leader's statements expose the party's politics of creating rifts based on regionalism, religion, and language.

Shah also took issue with Gandhi's comments during an interaction at Georgetown University, where Gandhi remarked that reservations could be reconsidered when India becomes a fair place. Shah said Gandhi’s words revealed Congress's "anti-reservation" stance, asserting that under the BJP, reservations and national security would remain protected.
