Another suicide in Kota: Another alarm as deaths endure in spite of panels and guidelines

Fifteen students killed themselves in 2022According to data from the Rajasthan Police. A startling 27 pupils committed suicide in 2023. It was a high point for the year. 

Another suicide in Kota

This is significantly more suicides this year than all other recorded suicides since 2015. There have been seven suicides in 2024 so far with three suicides reported in just the month of March. It is equal to the amount from the year prior. Police discovered the corpse of a twenty-year-old Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh resident. She had applied for the National Eligibility and Eligibility Test (NEET) in the Vigyan Vihar neighborhood.

The woman had been staying at a paying guest lodge prior to her death on Wednesday. It is according to Jawahar Nagar police station SHO Kamalesh Kumar. For more than a year she had been in Kota. She was preparing for the National Eligibility and Eligibility Test (NEET). When her neighbors learned that she planned to spend the entire day in her room getting her lunch and supper boxes, they became aware of the issue. Her landlord discovered the body while breaking down the door.

No signs of suicide have been found at the location. Her parents have been informed of the circumstances. Kumar declared that a medical board has been established to supervise the autopsy procedure. It was made so that the deceased's body has been moved to the Kota MBS hospital for one.
