Rupesh Naik, one of the suspects, was seriously hurt while trying to flee the scene of the crime. Naik was rushed to the Bhawanipatna government hospital and then moved to the VIMSAR hospital in Burla. He died despite all medical efforts to save him. After the postmortem report is received, the official reason of Naik's death can be established. Some of the stolen property and funds were found in the possession of the suspects who were apprehended by law enforcement.

On the evening of August 21, the group broke into Sahu's house with violence. Local locals tracked down Naik, who had participated in the robbery, soon after it had occurred. He tried to flee but was injured, and the locals turned him over to the authorities.

SDPO Dhiraj Chopdar of the Dharamgarh police department shared this information and emphasised that more inquiries are needed. The arrest of these four gang members provides new information about the structure of the criminal enterprise. The death of one of the accused highlights the risks and complications of such illicit acts, even as the police make progress in investigating the case.

It's a sobering reminder of how vital vigilant communities and strong law enforcement are to keeping people safe and stopping crime. It also emphasises the importance of maintaining efforts to counter criminal networks and provide victims with fair treatment.
