New Nifty Launched by NSE: NSE Indices, a division of the NSE that provides index services, announced the launch of a new index in the Nifty Bharat Bond Index series. New Nifty Launched by NSE  Picture Source: Internet Each index in the Bharat Bond Index series measures the performance of a portfolio of AAA-rated bonds issued by government-owned entities and maturing in a particular year. The series has a Target Maturity Date structure. The Nifty Bharat Bond Index - April 2032 is the new index in the Nifty Bharat Bond Index series. The first two indices in the Bharat Bond Index series, with maturities in April 2023 and April 2030, were launched by NSE Indices in December 2019. Two additional indices, with maturities in April 2025 and April 2031, were launched in July 2020. More Related News The fifth in the series of Bharat Bond ETFs, which will track the recently launched Nifty Bharat Bond Index and mature in 2032, will give fixed-income investors more investment options, according to Mukesh Agarwal, CEO of NSE Indices. According to him, as of November 30, 2021, the four Bharat Bond ETFs that were already in place managed a combined AUM of more than Rs 37,000 crore. The base date and base value of the Nifty Bharat Bond Index for April 2032 are both November 30, 2021. At the conclusion of each calendar quarter, the index will be rebalanced/reconstituted.
