Sagar Parekh, recognized for his role as Samar, the younger son of Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) and Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey), garnered attention when his character met a tragic end while saving Anuj's life on the show. Following his departure from Anupamaa, speculations about his participation in Bigg Boss 17 have gained momentum.

According to a report by TimesNowNews.com, the actor has confirmed that he has been approached for the reality show. However, he remains undecided, stating, "I have not yet made up my mind to do the show. Also, my parents are against it. Hence, I am still confused about it." Additionally, Sagar Parekh disclosed that he is also in negotiations with the makers of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.

Meanwhile, Rupali Ganguly, the lead star of Anupamaa, bid an emotional farewell to Sagar Parekh, expressing, "It is heartbreaking and emotionally draining and exhausting as Anupamaa bids farewell to her precious child… but my genuine love for you as a person has made it so much more believable for me to do."

As for Bigg Boss 17, Salman Khan is set to return as the host for the 14th consecutive season. The internet has been abuzz with rumors about potential participants, including Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain, Shailesh Lodha, Divyanka Tripathi, Pooja Bhatt, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, Jay Soni, Monika Bhadoriya, and Manisha Rani, among others.
