Ranbir Kapoor's highly acclaimed film, 'Animal,' is set to captivate audiences anew with its extended cut exclusively on Netflix. The eagerly anticipated digital debut is scheduled for Republic Day, January 26, 2024. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga confirmed the existence of this extended version, sharing that it will feature an additional 8 minutes of gripping content.

This extended version aims to enhance the narrative by incorporating scenes initially omitted from the theatrical release. The decision to release a longer version was sparked by the director's acknowledgment of regret over previous cuts, expressing a desire to provide a more comprehensive storytelling experience. The extended cut's runtime will now be 3 hours and 29 minutes, with the additional scenes adding depth to the storyline.

Rumors surrounding the extended cut gained momentum after Vanga's recent interview, where he openly admitted to the existence of an extended OTT version. He emphasized the utilization of the extra minutes to weave in crucial scenes that were left out of the initial release, promising a richer cinematic journey for the audience.
