A burqa-clad woman threatened Salim Khan, invoking the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The incident occurred during Salim Khan’s morning walk at Carter Road. Police suspect it may have been a prank, but the case is under investigation due to previous threats to Salman Khan by the Bishnoi gang.

In a disturbing incident, a burqa-clad woman allegedly threatened Salim Khan, the father of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, during his morning walk in Mumbai's Carter Road area on Wednesday. The woman invoked the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who had previously threatened Salman Khan. The Mumbai police are investigating the case and have booked two people involved in the incident.
The threat occurred when Salim Khan, a former screenwriter, was sitting at a promenade after his morning walk. A man and a woman on a bike approached him, and the woman said, “Lawrence Bishnoi ko bulau kya?” (Should I call Lawrence Bishnoi?). The police suspect the incident could have been a prank, but given the seriousness of past threats, investigations are ongoing to trace the culprits.
Salman Khan has faced threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is believed to be involved in the murder of rapper Sidhu Moosewala. Earlier this year, on April 14, two men fired five rounds outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra. The police arrested six people linked to the attack and believe the Bishnoi gang was responsible.

The Mumbai Police has invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against at least nine accused, including Lawrence Bishnoi. Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Vishnoi, is said to have played a key role in the attack by providing information to the shooters.
