It was recently disclosed what steps Shannen Doherty is doing to make her mother Rosa's passing a "simpler transition". Stage 4 breast cancer has spread in the former 90210 star.

On Monday, Doherty stated on her podcast Let's Be Clear that her mother is her top priority at the moment. To be completely honest, I would be devastated if I were to die before her.

I would rather if some things were a lot easier because she will find it so challenging. She shouldn't be handling too much right now, and I hope that changes. She went on to say that she didn't think it was appropriate that she had four storage containers full of furnishings.

It was an arduous effort, emotionally and physically draining.

The 52-year-old woman claimed that she started going through her possessions to decide whether to sell or donate them in case something happened to her. Recently, she has been collecting a variety of goods, including antiques. She went to her house in Tennessee not too long ago to get her possessions.

Doherty says I was packing up one of our venues in Tennessee when we were there. It seemed as though I was finally giving up on the idea of growing our land, constructing a house for my mother and me, and adding to the barn. It was really difficult and quite emotional for me since I felt like I was giving up on this goal.

Doherty has made the decision to construct a sanctuary for stray horses whose owners have decided they are too old or too "broken down" to take care of them any longer. These, she claimed, were a handful of her dreams.

It is still possible for me to achieve my goal of assisting horses, Doherty said. I still have the opportunity to sate that desire by actively assisting rescues who are considerably better qualified to complete the duties at hand. She further added that she can help her family relocate more easily and without incident by selling these homes.
