CBI Arrests Three Government Officials For Their Alleged Involvement Bribery Case

In a noteworthy development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made a significant move by apprehending four individuals, three of whom are officials linked to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MOCA).


The arrests were conducted on the grounds of their suspected involvement in a bribery case valued at Rs 3 lakhs. This action took place on a Saturday, and during the operation, an astounding sum of Rs 60 lakhs in cash was seized from the accused.

Among those detained are two officials stationed in the office of the Director General at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MOCA), with one holding the position of Joint Director and the other serving as a Senior Technical Assistant at the New Delhi office. Additionally, a Joint Director from MOCA, currently assigned as the Official Liquidator at Corporate Bhawan in Chennai, was also taken into custody, along with an associate associated with a private company based in Mumbai, specifically Alok Industries.
