After the cross-border love stories of a Pakistani and Polish woman coming to pursue their love in India and an Indian lady reaching Pakistan to marry her Facebook friend, a Chinese woman has now reached Islamabad to marry her Pakistani love.

Chinese Woman to Marry Her Snapchat Lover in Pakistan

A 21 year old Chinese woman, Gao Feng reached Pakistan on a 3 month travel visa. She traveled to the Bajaur tribal district of Pakistan where her 18 year old Snapchat boyfriend Javed resided. After residing there for almost a week, the Chinese woman converted to Islam and married the love of her life by successfully fulfilling the ‘Nikah’ ceremony.

Future Aspects

The police has found the duo to be communicating regularly on Snapchat since the past 3 years. She was advised by police authorities not to remain in Pakistan given the risk involved. Currently, the couple has further plans to move to China where they will register their court marriage. After completing his education within a year, Javed will be shifting to China permanently to join Gao.
