It was revealed that a female CISF attacked the actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday.
The act occurred while the security check was being conducted and Ranaut, the newly-elected MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, allegedly was unable to place her mobile phone in the tray for scanning.
According to the eyewitnesses, the event happened when the 36-year-old woman pushed a CISF staffer, to whom the latter reacted by applying force by slapping Ranaut. There was a video clip that captured Ranaut instigating some of the security personnel at the airport.
The concerned Bollywood actor took a Vistara flight to Delhi around 3:00 PM with proper security measures like sending passwords to interested people. However, the fact that one of them has not reported it is still not clear whether any of the parties has filed a legal complaint on the occurrence.
This is not the first instance where Ranaut has landed herself in controversy with the public. The actress has always been surrounded by controversies owing to some of the remarks she makes on various issues.
The traveling public is also obliged to be compliant with security measures in place and assist in the removal of all prohibited items such as electronics for XX-rays Any of these can attract punitive action by the airport authorities.
