Contaminated Cough Syrups Linked to Child Deaths: WHO Investigates

  Shocking reports have surfaced that the World Health Organization (WHO) is investigating links between the deaths of over 300 children and the use of contaminated cough syrups from multiple manufacturers. According to sources familiar with the issue, the WHO is looking into whether there is any connection between the manufacturers of these syrups.   Contaminated Cough Syrups Contaminated Cough Syrups The WHO is also considering issuing a global advisory for families to reassess their use of cough syrups for children. This news has sent waves of concern throughout the parenting community, as using cough syrups for children is a common practice. It has been reported that in October 2022 and earlier this month, the WHO issued specific alerts for cough syrups made by two Indian manufacturers.
