The shooting of a scene for the upcoming Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 at a gurdwara has sparked a strong objection from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).Gurcharan Singh Grewal, the General Secretary of the apex gurdwara body, expressed deep concern over the presence of the movie's hero and heroine engaged in an objectionable act within the gurdwara premises.
In a tweet, Grewal pointed out, "Amidst the shower of flower petals, it is distressing to witness Gatka Singhs, skilled practitioners of the Sikh martial art, performing around the actors."
Gurcharan Singh Grewal expressed his discontent, emphasizing that both Sunny Deol and the movie director should comprehend that a gurdwara is not an appropriate setting for filming such a scene.
The General Secretary of SGPC expressed strong disapproval, stating that the images or video clip being circulated are a source of shame for the Sikh community.
