Bollywood actor Sharad Kapoor has been accused of molestation by a 32-year-old woman, who claimed he lured her to his home under the pretense of discussing a project. According to the complainant, Kapoor made inappropriate advances and sent lewd messages following their meeting.

The alleged incident occurred on November 26, 2024, when Kapoor invited the woman to his office to discuss work on video reels. The complainant stated that upon her arrival, Kapoor was inappropriately dressed and attempted to assault her. She later received obscene messages and a distressing voice note from the actor.

The Khar Police registered an FIR against Kapoor under Sections 74, 75, and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on November 27. The actor has been summoned for questioning as part of the investigation.

Police officials highlighted the complainant’s demand for legal action, emphasizing the importance of accountability in the entertainment industry. Despite the allegations, Kapoor has yet to release an official statement.

Sharad Kapoor, known for his roles in films like Josh, Dastak, and Lakshya, has built a career playing supporting and antagonist roles. His most recent work includes the political drama Jai Ho, starring Salman Khan.
