Many got injured during the action. The altercation between the demonstrators and the police created a lengthy traffic backup from the Clock Tower to Rajpur Road. On Wednesday, unemployed youngsters conducted a dharna in this location to call for a CBI investigation into alleged anomalies in several recruitment exams held by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. The police allegedly pushed the youths to end their dharna on Wednesday, making them furious. The state government’s “coercive manner in which the voice of adolescents was being silenced” drew a solid congressional response. According to PCC Vice President Mathura Dutt Joshi, the party will stage protests against the atrocity committed against young people in every district on Friday. Earlier on Thursday, Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister, made a plea to young people not to be duped by anyone, stating that efforts are being made to guarantee that recruitment exams are transparently performed in the state. According to us, the nation’s harshest anti-copying law will shortly be implemented. Unfair tactics would be eliminated, and recruiting exams would be conducted transparently. No injustice will be done to the youth, and we’ll make sure of it, Dhami added. “Our government is making choices that are favorable to youth. Our sisters and daughters are eligible for reservations in positions with the government. The interests of everyone shall be safeguarded.  He stated that I wanted to ask the youth not to fall prey to anyone’s deception. According to the chief minister, the administration has thoroughly investigated irregularities in recruitment examinations and has imprisoned those responsible.
