Set against the backdrop of Bombay in 1947, during the early days of India's independence, the film captures the enchantment of the nation as it becomes captivated by the allure of movie stars.
Following a twist of fate triggered by a vehicle accident, Binod finds himself taking over Madan's role and rises to stardom in the film. However, as he grapples with the lack of control over his own life, Binod gradually realizes the true cost of fame. Alongside, Wamiqa Gabbi portrays the character of Nilofer, a young musician, while Sidhant Gupta plays Jay Khanna, an aspiring director who dreams of collaborating with the renowned "Madan Kumar." The cast also includes Ram Kapoor in a prominent role.
Prosenjit Chatterjee takes on the role of the owner of Roy Talkies, while Aditi Rao Hydari portrays his wife Who is engaged in a secret affair with Madan Kumar in the film.
The initial part of the series, comprising episodes 1 to 5, premiered on April 7, while the second half, with episodes 6 to 10, will be released on Amazon Prime Video on April 14th. Jubilee is a collaboration between Phantom Productions, Reliance Entertainment, and Andolan Films.
