A grave security breach occurred when a speeding car collided with Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan's convoy while he was en route to Delhi after attending an event in Noida. The incident unfolded on a Friday night and raised alarming concerns about the safety of the governor.
The Uttar Pradesh Police swiftly responded to the situation and apprehended two individuals responsible for ramming the convoy. The suspects, identified as Gaurav Solanki and Monu Kumar, both residents of Ghaziabad, were found to be in an inebriated state at the time of the incident. An FIR was filed against them, and they were taken into custody for further investigation.
Surprisingly, the speeding vehicle didn't hit the governor's convoy just once, but it rammed into it twice, escalating the severity of the situation. Authorities also detained a black Scorpio car, suspected to be involved in the reckless act.
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan had traveled to Noida to attend a private function in Sector 77, and little did he know that his journey back would be marred by such a dangerous incident. The breach in his security raises questions about the protocols in place to protect dignitaries and highlights the need for stringent measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
