To strengthen disaster management capabilities across the country, Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting with ministers responsible for disaster management from various states and Union Territories (UTs) today.

 

The meeting held in New Delhi focused on assessing the existing disaster management infrastructure, sharing best practices, and formulating strategies to mitigate the impact of natural and man-made disasters.

 

The meeting was attended by ministers and officials from all states and UTs, including representatives from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
