Ayush Jaiswal, a US-based entrepreneur, sought help on social media over a property dispute involving his father in Varanasi. After alleging police inaction, authorities registered an FIR, initiating an investigation. The case involves harassment claims by a relative attempting to seize the property.

San Francisco-based entrepreneur Ayush Jaiswal has publicly sought assistance over a property dispute involving his father in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Jaiswal alleged that a group of individuals, including a relative, was attempting to seize his father's property while local authorities initially remained unresponsive.
In his post, Jaiswal shared a note from his 64-year-old father, describing how hooligans allegedly broke into his shop, changed the locks, and harassed family members. The senior citizen further claimed that an employee falsely asserted ownership of the property.
“This person is a relative who has a gun and has been indirectly threatening us for a long time. I have recordings of harassment and all the documentation to prove my father’s innocence,” Jaiswal wrote, calling the situation “a cry for help.”
The post, which quickly gained traction, prompted a response from the Uttar Pradesh Police. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Kashi Zone stated that an FIR had been registered and the matter was under investigation. The police clarified that the dispute appeared to involve family members, including a cousin, and assured action based on merit.
Jaiswal, co-founder and CEO of Pesto Tech, thanked the authorities for their intervention but maintained that the issue required swift resolution. Social media users rallied in support, expressing hope for a fair and quick outcome.
