Kangana Ranaut Opens Up on Her Broken Friendship with Aamir Khan After Hrithik Roshan Controversy

On her Instagram Stories, Kangana Ranaut remembered the time when she considered Aamir Khan her closest friend. However, she stated that Aamir Khan's support for Hrithik Roshan made it clear where his loyalties lay, leading to the end of their friendship.

In response to an old conversation with Aamir Khan on the sets of his TV show Satyamev Jayate, Kangana Ranaut expressed her thoughts and memories of how she once regarded him as her closest friend in the film industry. However, Kangana mentioned that their friendship had changed, and she revealed that she believed this happened because Aamir showed his support for Hrithik Roshan during her highly publicized legal battle with the actor.

 

In a video shared by a fan page on Instagram, Kangana Ranaut was featured with Aamir Khan in an episode of Satyamev Jayate. The episode discussed how Kangana made a conscious decision to refuse item songs in Bollywood after witnessing a young girl performing to one. During the episode, Kangana was accompanied by Deepika Padukone and Parineeti Chopra. This video was shared by Kangana on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

 

Accompanied by the video, Kangana Ranaut added a caption to her Instagram Stories discussing the past when Aamir Khan was her closest friend. Kangana wrote, "Sometimes I recall the time when Aamir Sir was my best friend... I don't know where those days have gone." She also mentioned the legal dispute with Hrithik Roshan, stating that Aamir had mentored her, appreciated her, and had a significant impact on her career choices before the controversy arose. However, Kangana pointed out that after the legal battle, Aamir and others in the industry made their loyalties clear, and it felt like she was fighting against the entire film industry.

 

After Kangana Ranaut referred to her "silly ex" in an interview, a public feud erupted between her and Hrithik Roshan, leading to both parties sending legal notices to each other. In 2020, when the FIR that Hrithik had filed against Kangana was transferred from the Cyber Cell to the Crime Intelligence Unit, Kangana took to Twitter and suggested that Hrithik should "move on".

 

Kangana Ranaut's upcoming projects include P Vasu's Chandramukhi 2, a sequel to the hit Tamil horror comedy film Chandramukhi, which originally starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles. In Chandramukhi 2, Kangana will be playing the character of a dancer in the king's court who was renowned for her beauty and dancing abilities.
