Chandramukhi 2 continues its impressive run at
the box office, earning ₹5 crore in India on its third day. Helmed by director
P Vasu, the movie has been performing admirably on the domestic front.
According to reports from Sacnilk.com, within three days of its release on
September 28 in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu, Chandramukhi 2 has amassed over ₹17
crores in net collections.
As per the same source, Chandramukhi 2's
earnings on its third day for all languages have reached ₹5 crore net, as per
early estimates. The film opened to a strong start, garnering ₹8.25 crore on
its first day (Tamil: ₹5.58 crore; Telugu: ₹2.5 crore; Hindi: ₹17 lakh). On the
second day, it maintained its momentum with collections of ₹4.35 crore (Tamil:
₹3.4 crore; Telugu: ₹85 lakh; Hindi: ₹10 lakh). However, there was a noticeable
47.27 percent dip in earnings on the second day. As of now, the movie has

Chandramukhi 2, starring Kangana Ranaut and
Raghava Lawrence in pivotal roles, is the sequel to the highly successful Tamil
horror-comedy Chandramukhi, which featured Rajinikanth and Jyothika. Produced
by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran, the film's release was initially slated for
September 15 but was postponed to September 28 due to technical issues.
The film's plot revolves around a family
moving into a mansion, with strict warnings about the south block, known as
Chandramukhi's dwelling. Kangana takes on the role of a dancer in the king's
court, renowned for her beauty and dancing prowess, while Raghava Lawrence
portrays King Vettaiyan Raja. The film also features Raghava in dual roles,
adding to its intrigue.
Before the movie's theatrical release, Raghava
Lawrence paid a visit to Rajinikanth, a revered figure in the industry. He
shared a video of their meeting on social media, showcasing Rajinikanth in a
black kurta and white lungi while Raghava sported a white kurta with a matching
lungi. In a touching gesture, Raghava sought Rajinikanth's blessings by
touching his feet. He also extended congratulations to the superstar for the
tremendous success of his recent blockbuster, Jailer.
Raghava expressed his happiness by stating,
"Today I met my Thalaivar and guru @rajinikanth to wish him for Jailer's
blockbuster success and got blessings for Chandramukhi 2 release on September
28. I'm so happy. Thalaivar is always great. Guruve Saranam (Teacher is
everything)."
Overall, Chandramukhi 2's steady box office
performance and the camaraderie between the cast and industry legends like
Rajinikanth have contributed to its success.
