Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center:-
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center(NMACC) was created to present a sensory tour of India’s Rich cultural history using costuming, performance, and visual arts. It is situated inside the Jio World Centre, part of Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex, also called the “city of dreams.”
The magnificent infrastructure includes a grand theatre with a capacity for 2000 spectators, a 4-story art house, a Pavilion with a flexible space of 52,627 square feet for art shows and exhibitions, and a studio theatre. Nick Jonas, Tom Holland, and Zendaya, three well-known actors, were also spotted there.
The company’s founder, Nita Mukesh Ambani, explains her goals: “The time has come to signify a fresh beginning for our steadfast dedication to art and culture. The Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre fulfills a long-held desire that fills me with great joy.
The NMACC location seeks to unite the neighborhood via the arts. It celebrates India’s illustrious past, customs, and heritage. My daughter Isha and I have been entirely devoted to our dream project for the past few years and the rest of our team.
The NMACC is intended as a forum to showcase India’s arts and culture at its finest for both the audience and the performers: a center that welcomes everyone, both performers and guests, dreamers and makers. We aim to make the arts available to everyone through first-rate infrastructure and comprehensive programming.
The NMACC is our dedication to safeguarding and advancing Indian arts, and it is a tribute to our country. By bringing people from all over the world and India together, our places can foster and inspire talent." Before the NMACC opened on March 30, Ram Navami, Nita Ambani organized a Pooja.
The younger son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, also attended the ceremony with his fiancée Radhika Merchant. Akash Ambani and his wife, Shloka, were also at the ceremonial opening. At the event, famous investor Anand Piramal, also Isha Ambani’s husband, was seen posing for photos with Akash Ambani.
The event was also attended by Anand Piramal’s father, Ajay Piramal. Among the notable personalities participating in the NMACC’s inauguration were Gauri Khan, Aamir Khan, Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, and Priyanka Chopra. Sachin Tendulkar, Anupam Kher, Alia Bhatt, Suhana Khan, and Ranveer Singh.
The following areas are located in the Centre:
The Grand Theatre: The Grand Theatre has a superior, programmable lighting system, a top-notch Dolby Atmos integrated surround sound system, and a Virtual Acoustic System. The latter has been enhanced and given 8,400+ Swarovski gems to create a unique, multidimensional experience. It contains 18 diamond boxes and seating for 2000 people.
Studio Theatre: A flexible stage, an integrated Dolby Atmos surround sound system, an LED-driven theatrical lighting system, and assistive listening devices are all available in the 250-seat studio theatre.
Dhirubai Ambani Square: The foundation of joy at Dhirubai Ambani Plaza, modeled after a lotus, honors the vibrant energy of Mumbai and presents a wide range of exquisitely choreographed acts.
Art House: The 16000 square foot, four-story art house is a dedicated visual arts venue where Indian and international artists’ work is on show. To commemorate the grand NMACC’s opening, numerous cultural events have already been scheduled for the general public. The Great Indian Musical being one of them.
The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation is a musical masterpiece by Feroz Abbas Khan that follows the history of India via outstanding examples of dance, drama, music, and other forms of Indian culture. Hamish Bowles is the curator of the fashion exhibition Indian in Fashion, which features classic garments from throughout the Globe. Art exhibition Samagam/Confluence honoring the creations of modern painters influenced by India.
