In Palghar, Maharashtra, Satish Patil has been arrested for allegedly killing his younger brother, Chandrakant, after a dispute over an electricity bill and government benefits. Their ongoing conflicts culminated in violence when Satish attacked Chandrakant with a sickle during an argument. Police responded quickly to apprehend Satish following the incident.
In a tragic incident in Maharashtra's Palghar district, a man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his younger brother following a heated argument over an electricity bill and benefits from a government housing scheme. The incident occurred in Sakle Pada village, where 45-year-old Satish Jitu Patil reportedly killed his 35-year-old brother, Chandrakant Jitu Patil, using a sickle.
According to police reports, the brothers had a history of conflicts related to financial matters, specifically regarding the government scheme and household expenses. Their long-standing disputes escalated into violence on Wednesday when an argument erupted over these issues. During the confrontation, Satish attacked Chandrakant with the sickle, resulting in his brother's immediate death at the scene.

Authorities from the Satpati police station acted swiftly, apprehending Satish shortly after the incident. A police official noted that repeated disagreements over financial benefits and household bills led to this unfortunate and violent outcome.
