A massive three-alarm fire erupted at the London Belle Supper Club in downtown Salt Lake City, prompting evacuations, traffic closures, and TRAX service suspension. Firefighters battled the blaze for hours, with no injuries reported. The cause is under investigation, and the extent of the damage remains unknown.

A large fire broke out Monday night at the London Belle Supper Club, a popular upscale bar and restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The blaze, reported around 9 p.m. at 321 S. Main Street, quickly escalated to a three-alarm fire, prompting an extensive response from the Salt Lake City Fire Department.
Videos shared on social media showed towering flames and thick smoke rising from the building as firefighters worked to contain the spread. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and officials have not confirmed whether nearby businesses or structures were affected.
Authorities urged the public to avoid the three-block radius surrounding the incident. Utah Transit Authority suspended TRAX light rail service through the area, and Salt Lake City police blocked traffic near Main Street and 300 South to facilitate firefighting operations.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department issued multiple updates on X, confirming an active firefight and the establishment of a media staging area on the southwest corner of 300 South Main. Fire officials also stressed the importance of keeping the public clear of the hazard zone while emergency crews worked.
The London Belle Supper Club, known for its vintage-inspired décor, craft cocktails, and fine dining, occupies a historic building once associated with Belle London, a well-known figure in Utah’s early 20th-century history. The venue is a staple in the city’s nightlife scene, attracting both locals and tourists.
