In a delayed acknowledgment, Pakistan has termed the triumphant Chandrayaan-3 mission a "great scientific achievement," attributed to the commendable efforts of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists. The nation's prominent dailies have joined the chorus of praise, highlighting India's feat accomplished on a relatively modest budget compared to wealthier counterparts.

Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch responded to queries during her Friday briefing, affirming the significance of the successful soft-landing of the Chandrayaan-3 mission on the Moon. "I can only say that it is a great scientific achievement for which ISRO scientists deserve appreciation," she briefly stated.

Previously, Pakistan had largely disregarded India's landmark achievement. However, the country's leading media outlets dedicated front-page coverage to the historic event, recognizing its global impact.

In a prominent editorial titled 'India's Space Quest,' The Dawn newspaper hailed the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission as a historic moment. The publication commended India for achieving this milestone with a smaller budget than wealthier nations' expenditure. It acknowledged India's sustained state support and highlighted the exceptional dedication of Indian engineers and scientists, attributing these factors to the success of India's space endeavors.

The Express Tribune, in its editorial titled 'India's Lunar Laurel,' emphasized India's accomplishment of landing on the Moon's southern pole. This feat has eluded major space programs like the US, Soviet-Russian, and China. The publication also lauded the cost-effectiveness of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, which came in at an estimated USD 75-90 million, significantly lower than other big-budget ventures.

"Pakistan acknowledges Chandrayaan-3 achievement; media commends India's space milestone and budget-efficient success, while global voices join in applause."

Former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry joined the chorus of praise, acknowledging India's achievement. Social media platforms witnessed congratulatory messages from Pakistanis and constructive discussions on Pakistan's space endeavors. Some users playfully referenced the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), Pakistan's space agency, drawing comparisons with humorous undertones.

With a notable nod from Pakistan's media and a growing recognition on social media, India's Chandrayaan-3 success stands as a testament to its space expertise and cost-efficient approach on the global stage.
