A Pakistani government document has revealed seven additional locations hit by Indian drone strikes in May, expanding the known scope of Operation Sindoor. While India focused on terror sites, Pakistan claims unprovoked aggression. The newly listed sites include military hubs across Pakistan, intensifying regional tensions between the two neighbors.

A newly surfaced Pakistani government document has revealed that Indian drone strikes last month hit seven additional locations across Pakistan, from Peshawar in the northwest to Hyderabad in the south. These sites were not publicly acknowledged by Indian officials during or after the four days of military clashes between the two nations in early May.
The document, detailing Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, claims the strikes were part of India’s larger Operation Sindoor, launched following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that killed 26 civilians. While India had briefed the public about certain operations, the Pakistani document lists strikes on Peshawar, Attock, Bahawalnagar, Gujrat, Jhang, Chhor, and Hyderabad as additional, previously undisclosed targets.
Notably, Attock houses the National Defence Complex (NDC), which builds missile transporter-erecter-launcher systems, while Bahawalnagar and Gujrat are known for significant military cantonments. Chhor in Sindh hosts Pakistan’s Desert Warfare School, and Jhang’s Shorkot cantonment lies near the Rafiqui airbase, another key target.
High-resolution satellite imagery from private firms had earlier exposed the extent of damage at nine terror sites struck by the Indian Air Force (IAF) on May 7 and missile attacks on eight Pakistani airbases on May 10. The IAF reportedly targeted major militant hubs, including Markaz Subhanallah, the Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters in Bahawalpur, and Markaz Taiba, the Lashkar-e-Taiba’s main base near Muridke.

Indian forces also hit military installations across Pakistan on May 9 and 10, including Rafiqui, Chaklala, and Skardu. Though Indian officials maintain that their operations focused on neutralizing terrorist infrastructure, Pakistan has labeled the attacks as “unprovoked aggression.” The emergence of this document adds fresh layers to the unfolding regional tensions.
