Prime Minister Narendra Modi

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the Joint Meeting of the US Congress for the second time, he will make history. It has never happened before with an Indian Prime Minister. The Prime Minister of India has a huge following both in India and abroad, and wherever he goes, people of the Indian diaspora greet him with an outpouring of love and devotion.

Famed chef Shripad Kulkarni has designed the "Modi Ji Thali," a culinary spectacle that showcases the many tastes found throughout India, to celebrate this important milestone. Khichdi is just the first stop on the Thali's culinary journey through India, which also includes Kashmiri, Idli, Dhokla, Chaach, and Papad.

Rasgulla, Sarso Da Saag, and Dum Aloo are just a few of the other foods that can be found on the Thali. The Indian government recommended that the United Nations declare 2023 the "International Year of Millets," and the magnificent feast that was constructed with millets was a tribute to this recognition.

Notably, the restaurant's owner plans to provide S Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, with a special Thali prepared just for him. The minister's widespread respect and acclaim among Indian Americans prompted this change.

In 20 major cities across the United States, Indian Americans are planning marches for "India Unity Day" on June 18 to warmly welcome the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

On June 21, as the Prime Minister's plane, Air India One would land at Andrews Air Force Base, a meeting of Indian Americans is planned, and in Washington, over 600 members of the community will display the cultural fabric of India at Freedom Plaza.

On June 22, there will be a formal welcome ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House, and about 7,000 Indian Americans are expected to attend. This day is the pinnacle of the spectacular welcome.

At the John F. Kennedy Centre in Washington, Prime Minister Modi will speak to the highest-ranking executives of US firms, and at the Ronald Reagan Building and Institute, he will meet with members of the Indian diaspora.

Thousands of Indian Americans will also gather at the United Nations offices in New York City for the Prime Minister's residence for the commemoration of International Yoga Day.

This is not the first time that Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, has been honored with a special Thali. The ARDOUR 2.1 restaurant in Delhi prepared a special birthday gift for Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year: the '56 inch Narendra Modi Thali,' a platter of 56 vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals.

The upcoming visit of Prime Minister Modi to the United States will not only strengthen ties between India and the United States but will also bring to light the immense respect and love with which he is viewed by the Indian community in the United States.
