According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Jayant Bajbale, when the police entered the house, they discovered several body parts in utensils. The accused had used a tree cutter to chop the victim into pieces. While initial reports suggested that the accused fed the victim's body parts to dogs, the police clarified that this information was incorrect.

The shocking details of the crime continue as it was revealed that the accused boiled the body parts in a pressure cooker to eliminate any foul smell. He then placed the dismembered remains in plastic bags for disposal. The body parts have been sent to JJ Hospital for further investigation.

The Nayanagar police station received a complaint from residents of the building about a foul odor emanating from the couple's flat. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the woman had been brutally murdered. The motive behind the crime is believed to be a fight between the couple, during which the woman consumed poison. The police have taken the accused's statement, and further interrogation is expected to uncover more details about the motive.

The incident remained undiscovered for three to four days until the foul smell prompted the neighbors to report it to the police. This case bears a resemblance to a similar incident that occurred in Delhi the previous year, where a woman was brutally killed by her live-in partner.

The forensic team has arrived at the crime scene to gather evidence, and further investigation into the case is currently underway.
