Also, the Prime Minister had planned to visit the region earlier in January. It was, however, postponed due to other commitments and "virtually" flagged off the first Vande Bharat Train between the two Telegu states as a Sankranti gift on January 15.

The new Vande Bharat train will stop at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, and Nellore and will offer a more convenient way for people to travel between the destinations.

Interestingly, the inaugural train will make additional stops to give people the opportunity to experience the Vande Bharat train firsthand.

The Prime Minister's Visit would also oversee the inauguration and laying of the foundation for several infrastructure projects that included the modernization of the Secunderabad railway station. The project is expected to develop overall transportation infrastructure in the region and make Travel more convenient for residents and visitors.
