Raj Kundra, businessman and husband of actor Shilpa Shetty, has issued a statement following recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids in connection with an ongoing money laundering investigation linked to the alleged distribution of adult content. Kundra expressed frustration over his wife’s name being repeatedly dragged into the case, which he claims is unrelated to her.

On Instagram, Kundra clarified his cooperation with authorities, stating, “I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation... No amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth.” He urged the media to stop associating Shilpa Shetty with the case and respect their privacy.

Shilpa Shetty’s lawyer, Prashant Patil, refuted reports of an ED raid at her premises, asserting she has “nothing to do with any offence.” He emphasized that Kundra is cooperating with the investigation. Patil urged the media to avoid using Shilpa’s images or videos in connection with the case, warning of legal action against irresponsible journalism.

The ED raided multiple locations across Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh as part of the investigation, including Kundra’s home and office. The case also involves previous allegations of cryptocurrency fraud, for which the couple had earlier received relief from the Bombay High Court.
