Comedian Samay Raina has been given until March 10 to record his statement in the India’s Got Latent probe. Authorities are investigating allegations against him and YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, with multiple FIRs filed. Raina has deleted all show episodes and assured full cooperation.

The Mumbai Police have given comedian Samay Raina an extension until March 10 to appear for questioning regarding the India’s Got Latent controversy. The decision came after Raina’s lawyer requested more time, citing his client's stay in the United States.
Raina, along with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps), is under investigation for controversial remarks made on the now-deleted YouTube show. At least two FIRs have been registered—one in Assam and another in Mumbai. While Allahbadia has publicly apologised for his "lack of judgement," authorities have struggled to contact him, as his phone remains switched off and his residence locked.
The Mumbai Police have recorded statements from at least eight individuals, including influencers Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and Allahbadia’s manager. The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has also summoned 50 participants from the show, including film personality Raghu Ram, who has already provided his statement.
In response to the backlash, Raina deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent and acknowledged that the situation has been "too much to handle." He assured full cooperation with authorities in their investigations.
