The Chinese Foreign Minister, Qin, while participating in the bilateral talks along with S Jaishankar, stated that the Eastern Ladakh border tensions between India and China have been stable for a long time now, and this cooling-off period between the two nationals was the absolute need of the hour as well.

The Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar tweeted about the SCO Meet, “A detailed discussion with State Councillor and FM Qin Gang of China on our bilateral relationship. The focus remains on resolving outstanding issues and ensuring peace and tranquility in the border areas.”
