Singer Vishal Mishra announced he will never visit Turkey or Azerbaijan, citing their alleged role in Pakistan’s drone attacks on India. He made the statement amid heightened tensions following Operation Sindoor. Mishra’s stance received widespread support online, aligning his voice with growing national sentiment in support of Indian armed forces.

Singer and composer Vishal Mishra has publicly declared that he will “never ever” visit Turkey and Azerbaijan, expressing his disapproval of the countries' alleged support for Pakistan amid rising military tensions with India. His decision follows reports that Turkish-made drones were used in recent Pakistani aerial attacks on Indian territory.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday night, Mishra wrote, “Never ever going to #Turkey and #Azerbaijan! No leisure, no concerts! Mark My Words! Never!!” His post quickly went viral, drawing praise from fans who hailed his patriotism and strong stance during a time of national crisis.

The controversy stems from a press briefing by Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, who revealed that hundreds of drones, possibly Turkish-manufactured Asisguard Songar models, were deployed by Pakistan across 36 Indian locations. These drone incursions, reportedly aimed at testing air defence systems and gathering intelligence, were part of a broader response to India's Operation Sindoor—military strikes targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan following the deadly Pahalgam attack.

Vishal Mishra has been vocal about national unity and support for the Indian armed forces during the ongoing conflict. In an earlier post, he questioned why influential personalities remain silent during such critical times, urging solidarity with the military and emphasizing a collective national spirit.

Known for his popular tracks like Kaise Hua from Kabir Singh and recent hits from Animal and Dunki, Mishra has carved out a respected place in the Indian music industry. His firm stance reflects a broader cultural response in India as public sentiment hardens against countries perceived as aligned with hostile actions.
