The most powerful and largest rocket in the world, SpaceX’s Starship, designed to carry astronauts to space blasted into pieces at a space station owned by SpaceX in Boca Chica, Texas during its first-ever test launch.

Expected Utilities of Starship

Starship was deemed to be the best rocket ever built. Its size was twice the size of the latest technology, the Space Launch System (SLS). Only a successful launch was the remaining prerequisite to establish the name of Starship as the largest rocket ever with unimaginable advancements in technology.

The Starship project was built in the hopes that the rocket would carry humans to the Moon, Mars, and other planets which are further away from the Earth. However, the results during the very first launch have come out to be extremely depressing for SpaceX.

Prior Problems Associated with Starship

Today was not the first time when Starship was to be launched. Two days earlier, on Tuesday, the test launch of Starship had to be postponed due to problems that arose in a pressurant valve of the rocket. The organization took an improvisation time of 2 days and had scheduled another launch today, however, the rocket dismantled into individual parts seconds after the launch. SpaceX has tweeted, “As if the flight test was not exciting enough, Starship experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly before stage separation.”
