Param Vir Chakra awardee Yogendra Singh Yadav hailed Operation Sindoor as justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack. He praised the Army’s precision and ethics, urging unity among citizens and confidence in the nation’s strength. Yadav stressed the operation’s symbolism, saying terrorists were punished for desecrating India’s honor.

Kargil war hero and India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee, Subedar Major (Honorary Captain) Yogendra Singh Yadav, has strongly praised the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor, calling it a rightful act of justice against terrorism. Speaking in deeply emotional and symbolic terms, he stated, “The terrorists who desecrated the sindoor of Indian women have been answered. Our forces entered their homes and delivered justice.”
Operation Sindoor was India’s retaliatory strike against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, launched after the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. Yadav, known for his valor during the Kargil War, described the mission as an expression of national resolve and military capability.
He emphasized that the operation was carefully planned to avoid civilian casualties. “We target terrorists, not civilians. That’s why operations like these take time — proper reconnaissance is done to ensure no innocent lives are lost,” he said, underscoring the Indian Army’s ethical approach to warfare.
Yadav also dismissed concerns about escalation, expressing full confidence in India’s defense preparedness. “Our Army, Navy, Air Force — all are ready. And most importantly, the people of India stand united behind them,” he asserted.

Addressing civilians directly, Yadav appealed for calm and cooperation. He urged citizens to participate in safety drills, avoid spreading panic or negativity, and trust in the nation's ability to protect its people. “This is the time to support one another, not fear. Our unity is our strength,” he said.
Through his words, Yadav not only saluted the armed forces but also called upon every Indian to stay strong, united, and vigilant in the face of threats.
