After a protracted battle, she overcame the illness and resumed her regular life. With the Bengali television series Jhumur, the actress made her acting debut in 2017. She went on to star in a number of well-known daily soaps, including Jiyon Kathi, which helped to establish her as a household name in Bengal.

Everything was going well until her cancer relapsed in 2021, when life once more went off-course. She was found to have a malignant lung tumor. The actress triumphed once more following a difficult procedure and numerous chemotherapy treatments. She returned to work after overcoming cancer a second time. Aindrila recently played a key role in the web series "Bhagar."

However, the actress experienced a brain stroke on November 1 and after a protracted battle with life, she passed away on Sunday, November 20.
