Aindrila Sharma, a Bengali actress, died on Sunday at the age of 24 after multiple cardiac arrests.

Aindrila underwent a severe brain stroke on November 1 and was subsequently admitted to a private hospital in Howrah. She was kept on ventilator support after undergoing left front temporoparietal decompressive craniectomy surgery. The actress experienced a cardiac arrest on Tuesday, and CPR assistance was provided. Her health remained critical.

Aindrila Sharma, a Bengali actress, died on Sunday at the age of 24 after multiple cardiac arrests.

Cancer survivor Aindrila triumphed twice in her fight against the illness. Her spine-related Primitive Neuro-Ectodermal Tumor (PNET) was first discovered to be cancerous in 2015. After a protracted battle, she overcame the illness and resumed her regular life. With the Bengali television series Jhumur, the actress made her acting debut in 2017. She went on to star in a number of well-known daily soaps, including Jiyon Kathi, which helped to establish her as a household name in Bengal.

Everything was going well until her cancer relapsed in 2021, when life once more went off-course. She was found to have a malignant lung tumor. The actress triumphed once more following a difficult procedure and numerous chemotherapy treatments. She returned to work after overcoming cancer a second time. Aindrila recently played a key role in the web series "Bhagar."

However, the actress experienced a brain stroke on November 1 and after a protracted battle with life, she passed away on Sunday, November 20.

Aindrila Sharma  was raised and born in Berhampore, West Bengal. Anirban Chakraborti's daughter was recently portrayed by Aindrila Sharma in the Zee Bangla Cinema original film "Bhole Baba Par Karega."

Among other OTT productions, she portrayed the lead in "Jibon Jyoti" and "And Jiyon Kathi." She made her television debut in the episode of "Jhumur" starring Sabyasachi Chowdhury. Sabyasachi Chowdhury was her boyfriend, as per media.

“I never imagined I'd be writing this here. But the time has come today. Pray for Aindrila. Pray for a miracle. Beyond humans, she is battling against all odds," Sabyasachi wrote.
