The gang used three SUVs to corner the vehicle in broad daylight as the road narrowed near a construction zone. The incident, captured on dashcam footage and shared on social media, shows the gang blocking the car and abducting the occupants, identified as Arun Sunny and Rojy Thomas.

According to police, the crime occurred on September 22, and an FIR was filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The victims were assaulted and robbed before being released.
