Kejriwal remarked that the Lieutenant Governor must uphold law and order within the city. He tweeted, "A minor girl was brutally murdered in Delhi. This is very sad and unfortunate. The criminals have become fearless, there is no fear of the police. LG sir, law and order is your responsibility, do something."

On Sunday, a 16-year-old girl was murdered by her boyfriend in northwest Delhi's Shahbad Dairy, while she was on her way to attend the birthday party of her friend's son.

The accused stopped the victim on a busy road, stabbed her multiple times, and hit her with a stone, killing her on the spot.

Delhi Leaders Demand Justice And Action

Atishi Marlena, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), joined the AAP chief to strongly criticize the Lieutenant Governor (L-G), stating that the Constitution has entrusted the L-G with the "responsibility of protecting the people" of the Union Territory.

Kapil Mishra, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed his worries, stating, "This painful murder has happened in Delhi. Shraddha has not got justice yet. Do not know how many more Shraddhas will become victims of this brutality."

There will be no limits to cruelty if there is no action in this case."

The video of the incident has gone viral sparking outrage across the nation, raising concerns about the safety of women.
