Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is likely to host the IPL 2025 final, with Mumbai favored for playoff games depending on weather conditions. Other northern venues like Delhi and Jaipur are under review to avoid rain disruptions. The BCCI is yet to make an official announcement on playoff venues.

Ahmedabad is set to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium for the third time in four seasons. Although the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has yet to officially confirm the playoff venues, reports indicate that the grand finale will likely take place on June 3 at the world's largest cricket stadium.
Ahmedabad previously hosted the IPL final in both 2022 and 2023, witnessing memorable victories by Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings, respectively. This year, the decision seems influenced by the stadium's large capacity, offering a crowd of over 1.3 lakh a chance to witness the championship clash.
Meanwhile, the playoff venues remain undecided due to unpredictable weather patterns and logistical concerns. Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium is currently the frontrunner to host the first qualifier and eliminator. However, seasonal monsoon showers forecasted towards the end of May may compel BCCI to shift these crucial matches to more weather-secure northern cities.
Among the alternative venues under consideration are Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium, Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Lucknow's BRSABV Ekana Stadium, and Bangalore's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. These options are being reviewed for their logistical convenience and weather suitability.

Hyderabad and Kolkata, initially in the running, are no longer being considered due to scheduling and climatic issues. Hyderabad has only one home game left and is out of playoff contention, while Kolkata, having already completed its quota of matches at Eden Gardens, faces weather uncertainties.
The BCCI is expected to finalize the venues soon, ensuring the high-stakes matches proceed smoothly, unaffected by rain or logistical hurdles.
