Another Bollywood Actor Faces Legal Battle, Jacqueline Fernandez Appeared in Court:-

The Patiala House court in Delhi saw the arrival of actor Jacqueline Fernandez, who appeared for a hearing related to the ongoing Rs 200 crore Money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The Enforcement Directorate plans to submit a supplementary complaint in the case against the actor and the conman. The next court session is scheduled for April 18 at Patiala House.

In February, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, the fraudster, made an appearance in the Patiala House Court in Delhi for the money laundering case, during which he mentioned Satyendra Jain, an AAP minister currently incarcerated.

The Enforcement Directorate is investigating Sukesh Chandrashekhar in the Rs. 200 crore extortion case, where he is the main accused. He is facing charges in multiple other cases that are being probed by the ED, Delhi Police, and Economic Offences Wing for money laundering. As part of the investigation, the names of several Bollywood actors, most notably Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez, have surfaced in connection to the case.

Reports suggest that Sukesh gave testimony in court, stating that Jacqueline Fernandez is innocent and that he is present to defend her. He reassured the court that she was not involved in the case and that she need not worry, as he would be there to protect her. He said, "Jacqueline is not a part of this case, she does not need to worry, I am there to protect her."

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has interrogated several female Bollywood actors and models, such as Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi, in connection to the 2021 case involving Chandrashekhar.

ED has summoned Fernandez numerous times as part of the investigation, and she was named an accused in the supplementary charge sheet filed in January. She Was not mentioned as an accused in the previous charge sheets or the supplementary charge sheet.

On the professional front, Jacqueline recently made a cameo appearance in the song 'Deewane' from the movie 'Selfie', starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi.
