A recent development that has caught the attention of political pundits and social media enthusiasts alike, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, urging him to “get real without the reels.”
After the latest video viral of Rahul Gandhi with farmers at Sonipat’s Madina helmet. CM Sarma rushed to Twitter to criticise the former Congress President for producing “reels,” writing, “The newfound desire of the Prince and his desperation to get real is hilarious!
But for the love of God, do not diminish the dignity of our Annadatas in your eagerness to be photographed and recorded by your photo and video team. It is disgusting, Mr. Gandhi, to heckle farmers in an attempt to pass for one. Without the Reels, “Get Real.”
During a public address in Guwahati, Sarma addressed the crowd, touching upon various political topics. However, his remark targeting Rahul Gandhi’s social media presence garnered significant attention.
Sarma, known for his witty remarks, accused Gandhi of focusing more on creating social media content rather than addressing substantial issues.
Congressman Rahul Gandhi recently surprised farmers who were busily replanting paddy in their fields by stepping out of his SUV at Sonipat’s Madina hamlet at approximately 6.45 am on July 8.
The farmers didn’t identify Rahul until he approached them and a squad of law enforcement and security people descended upon the area.
