BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri, Offensive Remarks, Lok Sabha, Show Cause Notice, Parliamentary Conduct.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Ramesh Bidhuri has come under scrutiny for using offensive language against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Kunwar Danish Ali.

The controversial remarks were made during a discussion on the Chandrayaan-3 mission in the Lok Sabha.

Ramesh Bidhuri, representing South Delhi, found himself in hot water as his objectionable comments were expunged from the record. The BJP has taken action by issuing a show cause notice to Bidhuri, demanding an explanation for his use of unparliamentary language and possible disciplinary measures.

The incident has sparked outrage across party lines, with opposition leaders demanding strict consequences. Congress MP Jairam Ramesh has called for Bidhuri's suspension from Parliament, emphasizing that such language should have no place inside or outside of the legislative chamber.

Furthermore, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali has expressed his disappointment, stating that if action is not taken against Bidhuri, he would contemplate resigning from his Lok Sabha membership. He hopes for a fair investigation by the Speaker.

Former Union ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Harsh Vardhan have also faced criticism, with Jairam Ramesh accusing them of being "shamelessly gleeful" at Bidhuri's hate speech. This incident has intensified the ongoing debate surrounding political discourse and decorum within India's Parliament.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has taken the matter seriously, warning Bidhuri of "strict action" if such behavior is repeated in the future.
