The account purge is set to begin on December 31 this year. If you last logged into your Google account in the last two years, your account might be at risk. Google's Vice President for Product Management, Ruth Kricheli, highlighted that dormant accounts could be compromised, making the deletion crucial for protecting user data.

Alternatively, engaging in certain activities like sending or reading emails, using Google Drive, Search, YouTube, and signing in on other websites can safeguard your account.
