India cannot be prouder in the field of science and technology. Recently, Professor Satya Chakravarthy from IIT Madras has designed a flying electric taxi.


Design Receives Approval

The Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved Prof. Chakravarthy’s design which can accelerate inter-city travel by 10 times!

When Will The Flying Electric Taxi be Launched?

The flying electric taxi is set to be launched by 2025. It will be marketed by ePlane Company since the CEO of this Company, Mr. Pranjal Mehta partnered with Prof. Chakravarthy in executing the plan. Currently, the design requires a pilot operator however, the Company plans to innovate the design with autonomous driving technologies.

India’s first flying electric taxi is set to fly by 2025.

Utilities

The flying electric taxi does not take much space to launch the flight or to land. It can carry two passengers at a time apart from pilots. The flying electric taxi can fly at an altitude of 1500 feet.
