Incessant rainfall has been wreaking havoc across several regions in India, leading to floods and disruptions in daily life. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for various states, with Odisha facing the brunt of intense rainfall till July 27.

Odisha is bracing for intense rainfall until July 27 due to a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal. The IMD has issued an orange warning for Tuesday and Wednesday, urging authorities to be prepared for any emergencies.

In Jammu and Kashmir, a cloudburst was reported in Kupwara, adding to the weather woes. In Uttarakhand, heavy rainfall has resulted in overflowing rivers, causing concerns for local residents. The IMD has predicted continuous heavy rains for western and central India in the coming days.

 Intense Rainfall
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for various states, with Odisha facing the brunt of intense rainfall till July 27.

The southern state of Kerala has taken precautionary measures as the IMD predicted thundershowers from July 23 to July 26. As a result, a holiday has been declared on Tuesday for all schools and colleges in four districts, namely Wayanad, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Malappuram.

Mumbai, which experienced brief relief on Monday with 101mm of rain, is now placed under an 'orange' category weather alert on July 25. The IMD expects another day of heavy rain with 23mm recorded till 5:30 pm.

In the north, Himachal Pradesh is still grappling with flood-like situations and will continue to experience rainfall until July 28. The IMD has also warned of 'isolated very heavy rainfall' in some areas on July 26-27. Jammu and Kashmir can also expect more rainfall in the next two days, while Uttarakhand will continue to receive widespread rainfall until July 29.

Weather Alert
Odisha is bracing for intense rainfall until July 27 due to a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal.

In Karnataka's Mangaluru, incessant rainfall has led to large areas being inundated, further exacerbating the situation.

Authorities across the affected states are closely monitoring the weather conditions and urging residents to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety. With ongoing heavy rainfall, the risk of floods and landslides remains high, and people are advised to stay updated with weather alerts and advisories from official sources.
